(Evansville, IN) – Former Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch has been named executive director of the Deaconess Foundation.

Evansville-based Deaconess Health System says Crouch will focus on the foundation’s strategic direction, including leading long-term fundraising strategies, overseeing capital campaigns, and guiding foundation-led events.

Crouch is an Evansville native who served as Indiana’s second-in-command under former Gov. Eric Holcomb from 2017-2025.

Prior to that, she served as state Auditor from 2014-2017.

Crouch unsuccessfully ran for governor last year.

She begins her new job later this month.
