The North Decatur boys basketball C team notched its first win of the year last night. The Chargers got past Edinburgh 28-27.

Jac-Cen-Del visits Class 1A #11 North Decatur in girls basketball tonight on WRBI. Coverage begins around 7:15 on 103.9 FM, wrbiradio.com and the WRBI app….In other action, Class 3A #1 Greensburg welcomes Connersville; East Central is home against Decatur Central; Milan visits Lawrenceburg; South Ripley entertains Switzerland County, and South Decatur hosts Christian Academy of Madison.

In boys hoops tonight, Greensburg is at Jennings County; Milan visits Waldron, and North Decatur goes to Madison.

Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard is likely out for the season, according to an ESPN report. Hubbard suffered a PCL injury during Sunday’s win against the Tennessee Titans. He caught one of three Joe Burrow touchdown passes in Sunday’s game.

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Chicago Bears 30-12, and it was the Atlanta Falcons over the Las Vegas Raiders 15-9 in doubleheader action on Monday Night Football.

Kentucky moves up a notch to #4 in this week’s AP men’s college basketball poll. Purdue dropped five spots to #16. And UC is up three spots to #19. Tennessee, Auburn and Iowa State remain at 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Duke holds down the fifth spot.
