Sports Daily Digest 9/26/24

Greensburg volleyball knocked off South Decatur in three sets. Scores were 25-20, 25-12, 25-9 in favor of the Pirates.

Batesville Middle school volleyball split with Connersville. The Spartans took the 7th grade match in three sets, while the Bulldogs won the 8th grade contest in two sets.

Batesville Middle School cross country swept the Jennings County Invitational last night. In the girls’ race, the Bulldogs’ Ava Wade crossed the finish line first and was the meet champ. Batesville also won the boys meet. 7th grader Cael Luhman came in second overall to lead the Bulldogs.

It’s Week 6 of the high school football season. Coming up tonight, Batesville entertains Lawrenceburg in a battle of Top 10 Class 3A teams. It’s also Homecoming tonight at the Dawg Pound. Terrance Arney and Garry Sauley will have the call on 103.9 FM and the WRBI app starting with pregame at 6:45.

East Central is at South Dearborn. Pregame coverage begins at 6:40 on the WRBI app. Tom Snape and Patrick Kolks will be on the call.
