Robert D. Cameron, 82, of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
He was born April 20, 1942, in Milton, IN, son of the late Elliot “EJ” Jackson Cameron and Naomi (White) Cameron.
He worked as a laborer for Seagrams, retiring after many years of service.
Robert enjoyed pitching horseshoes and coon and squirrel hunting.
Robert is survived by his children, David Cameron, Robert Lee (Christina) Cameron, Mary Jo Cameron and Karl Cameron; grandchildren, Justin Bowman, Autumn Cameron, Megan Bowman, Derick Cameron, Dalton Cameron, Dakota Cameron, Cassie Lowe and Tori Cameron; great-grandchildren, Jussalynn Bowman, Jaxon Bowman, Kayden Cameron, Cash Cameron, Sawyer Cameron and Maverick Bowman; brother, Richard Butch Cameron, and sister, Mary Sue Couch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elliot “EJ” and Naomi Cameron; loving wife, Patricia Cameron; and siblings, Geneva Montgomery and David Lee Cameron.
Friends will be received Saturday, August 24, 2024, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jerry Grigsby officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hogan Hill Cemetery, Aurora. IN.
