Irvin Stenger, 88

Irvin Stenger, 88, of Sun City Arizona passed away July 16, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born May 20, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lillian and Urban Stenger. Irvin worked as a project manager for Messer Construction and on some of the largest commercial building projects in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Carol (Honnigford) Stenger and children Karen Walker (Tony Walker) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Jeff Stenger of Palmer, Alaska, Liz Meyer (Doug Meyer) of Sun City Arizona, and Mark Stenger (Ann Stenger) of Batesville. He is the grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of many.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  A veteran of the Navy, he will be interred in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. A memorial service will be held in Arizona later this fall.
