(Southeastern IN) – Much of Southeastern Indiana is now classified as being in a drought.
A new map from the U.S. Drought Monitor (pictured) indicates all of Ripley and Dearborn counties and most of Franklin and Decatur counties are in a moderate drought.
Other parts of Franklin and Decatur counties are classified as abnormally dry.
