Mary Lou Morgan, age 85 of Batesville, died Sunday, February 12, 2023 at her home. Born August 24, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is the daughter of Marie and Chester Pierce. She married James Morgan September 30, 1961 in Cincinnati and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2011. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou was a hairdresser and operated her own shop prior to retiring. In her younger years Mary Lou enjoyed playing tennis and moved on to golfing as she got older. Living in the country, she was content to sit outside and take in the quietness. And to say Mary Lou was an animal lover would be an understatement. She especially had a soft spot for dogs.
Mary Lou’s wishes were to be cremated. Calling will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17th at the Weigel Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Noon at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Compton Road in Cincinnati.
