In a game heard on WRBI Thursday night, the East Central boys varsity basketball team lost in a low scoring affair against Connersville 38-29. East Central
trailed 12-4 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Trojans would make a comeback in the second quarter, taking a 17-14 lead at the half. East Central would not be able to hold on to the lead as Connersville would take the lead in the 4th quarter and hold on to it.
Carson Pieczonka was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 12 points.
East Central’s record drops to 5-14 overall and 3-2 in the EIAC with the loss.
East Central returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Batesville. Tip-off is at 1:30 pm.
