Batesville, IN — Batesville Primary School (BPS) kindergarten orientation will take place Thursday, April 13, in the cafeteria and gym, according to BPS Principal Brad Stoneking.
Children must be five (5) on or before August 1, 2023, to enter kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
There will be 20-minute orientation sessions during the day and in the evening.
On Monday, February 6, families will be able to go to the Batesville Primary School website to sign-up for an orientation time and begin the online pre-registration process.
The parents(s) and the child should plan to arrive at BPS together on the day of orientation.
Parking is in the west side lot and the entrance is through the cafeteria doors (Door E).
On the day of orientation, the school will need for families to bring their child, an original birth certificate, and immunization records.
If applicable, families should also bring official court custodial paperwork.
BCSC will offer online registration for the 2023-2024 school year.
Parents are encouraged to monitor their email once signing up for an orientation time and begin the online pre-registration process.
More registration information will be sent to incoming kindergarten parents in the summer when the online registration portal opens.
