Here are the boys high school basketball holiday tournament scores from Wednesday, December 29.
All of these are second day results unless noted.
At Richmond, Greensburg took the championship with a 53-39 semifinal win over the host Red Devils then a 38-36 victory over Bloomington South in the finals. Lawrenceburg lost to Northwood 51-43 but pounded Purdue Poly Englewood 75-36 to place seventh.
At Edinburgh, the Lancers won their own event beating Indy Lutheran 60-48 in the finals. South Decatur took third topping North White 85-78, and Hauser finished fifth with a 59-42 W over Hagerstown.
At Monrovia, Milan lost to Mitchell 68-65 in overtime for an eighth place finish. Southwestern Shelbyville took fourth after losing 61-47 to Tipton.
At North Decatur, the host Chargers beat Rising Sun 49-45 but lost in the finals to Chatard, 55-39. The Shiners won the consolation game over Centerville 61-40.
East Central won its own, single day event with a 58-54 victory over Boone County, Kentucky and a 52-37 win over Rushville in the finals. The Lions won their earlier game against Covington Holmes, Kentucky 63-58.
In the first day of the Morristown Tournament, South Dearborn beat New Washington 66-38 and the host Yellow Jackets 63-38. South Ripley lost its first game 54-49 to Clinton Prairie but defeated Randolph Southern 64-51.
Today, the Knights will play Covenant Christian in the championship while the Raiders meet New Washington in a consolation game.
