23 new cases reported locally on Thursday

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 786 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 652,210 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,065,342 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 29 new deaths were reported for a total of 11,854 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 5,329 cases and 64 deaths reported (up 10 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,684 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 2 new cases), Franklin County has 1,580 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 1 new case), and Ripley County has 3,232 positive cases and 60 deaths (up 10 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 23 new positive cases and 1 new death.
