Travel advisories still out in the area

Southeastern, IN

Update – As of noon today,  Ripley County has moved to a Yellow travel advisory until further notice.  An “ADVISORY” Travel Status is the lowest level of local travel advisories. This means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Original Story – Ripley and Decatur Counties are still under an Orange travel advisory. The Orange “Watch” category means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a “watch” local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.

Franklin and Dearborn Counties are now under a yellow travel advisory. Roads still may be hazardous. Please use caution while traveling and give yourself extra time to get to your destination today.
