Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,758 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 471,876 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,545,018 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 18.5% positive rate and 143 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,244 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,465 cases and 40 deaths reported (up 30 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,950 positive cases and 63 deaths (up 9 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,086 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 4 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,260 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 24 new cases and 2 new deaths). Locally, this is an increase of 67 new positive cases and 4 new deaths.
