COVID-19 cases still rising in region

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,213 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 214,509 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,823,029 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 11.8% positive rate and 34 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,418 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 1,360 cases and 29 deaths reported (up 12 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 815 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 111 new cases), Franklin County has 462 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 36 new cases), and Ripley County has 719 positive cases and 12 deaths (up 70 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 229 new positive cases.
