The Batesville Bats 13U won a great contest on Saturday over the Buckeye Elite 6-5 to claim second place in the Cincinnati West Fall League against teams from the Tri-State area. Chris Lewis led the squad in hitting with a .667 batting average and an .889 slugging percentage. Conner Drake hit .368 and Joey Everroad .364. Everroad led the team in fielding percentage with a perfect 1.000, while Drake was solid on the mound going (4-0) with a 5.81 ERA. Lewis was impressive in relief with a 7.02 ERA and 4 saves.
