Batesville, In. — Batesville police made two drug arrests at the same business last week according to chief Stan Holt.
On Thursday around 2:30 p.m. police began an investigation based on a tip at the Keep it Kleen Car Wash on State Road 229. When police responded they found Kevin Michael Zigelmier, 24, of Cincinnati, in a car that smelled like marijuana. During a search, police found marijuana and paraphernalia.
Zigelmier has been charged with dealing in marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
On Sunday around 8:30 p.m. police were called to conduct a welfare check on a male passed out in a vehicle at the Keep it Kleen Car Wash. Police found Zachary James Floyd, 39, of Brookville unconscious. During a search, police found methamphetamine, paraphernalia and evidence consistent with dealing in methamphetamine.
Floyd has been charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
