Lady Eagles And Lady Raiders Split Middle School Contests

The JCD Jr. High Lady Eagles hosted the SR Raiders. Both games were exciting to watch. The 7th Grade worked hard in all 4 quarters. A buzzer beating 3 by Weber saw the Eagles go to the locker room at the half up 12-11. A rough 3rd quarter left them going into the 4th down 18-12. They came up short losing 23-18.

Scoring for the Eagles were Jones 6, Richter 5, Veerkamp 4, & Weber 3.

The 8th Grade came out on fire with their Defense & teamwork and took an early lead 9-2. They kept up the intensity and had a lead at halftime 20-8. They came out in the 3rd quarter and doubled their score 41-13. The end result was a great team win 44-19. Scoring for the Eagles were Williams 12, Fullmer 8, Wilhoit 6, Cullen & Newhart 5, Rider 4, and Cloey & Kayla Simon 2 each.

They will be in action again on Wednesday at home.
