Ripley, County, In. — The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department says a single vehicle crash hurt three people early Monday morning.
Crash investigators say a car driven by Robbyn Fussencker, 57, was southbound on Friendship Road when she failed to negotiate a curve near County Road 300 South around 2 a.m. The car went off the right side of the road and struck a tree, trapping the driver.
Fussencker had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency workers. Fussencker, Tabitha Ann Fergeson, 21, and a 16-year-old juvenile, all from Cross Plains, were transported to the Dearborn County Hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
