Sunman, In. — After a three month investigation Indiana State police have arrested an Aurora man in connection with a fight outside a Sunman tavern in June. Andrew Ballard, 29, was arrested at his place of employment Wednesday at 2 p.m. and charged with battery causing serious bodily injury.
On June 11 police responded to a report of two men suffering from serious injuries in the 100 block of West Washington Street at 2 a.m. After reviewing the evidence collected in the investigation Ripley County prosecutor Ric Hertel issued the warrant for Ballard’s arrest.
The investigation is ongoing. More arrests are possible.
