Versailles, In. — South Ripley High School teacher accused of providing alcohol to minors, Melissa Wilhoit has resigned. Court documents say witnesses saw Wilhoit give vodka and jello shots to minors during a June party at her home.
Wilhoit was charged in July by Ripley County prosecutor Ric Hertel.
South Ripley School Corporation officials say they’ll accept her letter of resignation and retirement at their next meeting.
