Batesville, In. — The Coalition for a Drug-Free Batesville will present National Night Out at the Batesville Memorial Pool on August 1 at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a free cookout, swimming, door prizes and a chance to meet police canine Jinx.
National Night Out is designed to build strong ties in neighborhoods between residents and police in order to reduce criminal activity.
