Butlerville, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced plans to replace a bridge near Butlerville this year. North Vernon-based Dave O’Mara Contracting will complete the project valued at $1,374,000.
The bridge replacement at County Road 560 East over Otter Creek at County Road 610 East will require a complete closure of both roads. The project location is about 1.9 miles south of U.S. 50. The closure is tentatively scheduled for the middle of June and will last for about 150 days. The detour route will be marked.
Jennings County will be responsible for 20 percent of the cost. The Federal Highway Administration will pay 80 percent of total cost.
