VERSAILLES, Ind. — The Batesville man who pleaded guilty to robbing the Huck’s gas station in February of 2015 has been sentenced.
Derek Douglas recently pleaded guilty to Armed Robbery.
The original charge of theft was dismissed.
Douglas has been sentenced to 10 years in prison with three years probation.
He was able to get away from the scene on foot but was later found after a K9 officer tracked him to an apartment building within a few blocks of the gas station.
