GREENSBURG, Ind. — A Greensburg man was arrested after a physical domestic altercation.
Police say, Bobby Lucas, 40, had battered a woman.
According to police, when officers arrived, the victim was hiding in the house.
Police say when Lucas made an attempt to re-enter the house, officers ordered him to stop.
Lucas then began to yell at the officer.
The officer pointed a Taser at Lucas, which calmed him down.
According to police, when officers attempted to place Lucas in handcuffs, he attempted to pull away and began yelling again.
Police say, when the victim exited the house, Lucas pushed officers in an attempt to get to her.
Lucas was restrained and transported to the Decatur County Jail.
Police say the saw signs of strangulation and scratches on her neck, as well as redness on her face.
Lucas was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery and Resisting Law Enforcement.
