Mr. William Joseph “Joey” Minch, Jr., age 30, of Greensburg, Indiana, formerly of Pleasant, Indiana, entered this life on September 6, 1985, in Madison, Indiana, the loving son of, William Joseph “Bill” and Christine (Holloway) Minch. He was raised in Pleasant, Indiana and was a 2004 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. Joey earned his electrician license in 2008 from Independent Electrical Contractors. Joey was currently employed since 2005 for Kenmark Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a former member of the Sons of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 in Vevay, Indiana. Joey enjoyed collecting cards, playing board games and video games, reading and watching movies, but most of all spending time with his loving son, William James Minch. Joey will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Joey passed away at 3:30 pm, Sunday, July 31, 2016, on US 421 near Napoleon, Indiana.
Joey will be dearly missed by his loving parents: William Joseph “Bill” and Christine (Holloway) Minch of Pleasant, Indiana; his adoring son: William James Minch of Carrollton, KY; his brothers: Justin Minch of Vevay, IN, Terry Minch of Indianapolis, IN and Keith Minch of Indianapolis, IN; his sister: Lisa Burk of Vevay, IN and his several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: C.H. and Frances Minch and his maternal grandmother: Mae Holloway.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 5, 2016, at 11:00 am, by Pastor Jerry Ison, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043
Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana.
