The 7th-grade boys’ basketball team traveled to Rushville to square off with the Lions for their last game of the regular season and was able to bring home the victory by a score of 36 -24. The Bulldogs struggled offensively early in the game and found themselves losing by the end of the 1st quarter by a score of 4-9. The Bulldogs turned to the defensive to help create a spark and were able to create turnovers and hold the Lions to 1 point in the second quarter. The Bulldogs would go into halftime leading 14 -10. Late in the third quarter the Bulldogs were able to get a 10-point lead and would go on to win the game. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Hank Bohman with 10 points, Isiah Martin with 8 points, Jax Negovetich with 5 points, Lane Higham with 4 points, Lee Degracia with 3 points, Ryder Shields with 3 points, RJ Schuerman with 2 points, and Dradyn Hochstetler with 1 point. The Bulldogs finished the regular season 14-2. They will be back in action Monday, January 15th for the first round of the SEI Tournament at home against South Dearborn.
