Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,477 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 533,083 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,681,739 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 19.9% positive rate and 142 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,292 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,003 cases and 41 deaths reported (up 38 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,183 positive cases and 77 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,280 positive cases and 29 deaths (up 11 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,598 positive cases and 42 deaths (up 13 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 73 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
