7 new local cases reported Tuesday

Statewide — Covid-19 numbers continue to drop significantly locally and across the state as Hoosiers receive the vaccine. The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 593 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 668,308 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,156,377 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 22 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,335 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 5,522 cases and 70 deaths reported (up 5 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,717 positive cases and 89 deaths (up 1 new case and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,603 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 1 new case), and Ripley County has 3,282 positive cases and 64 deaths (1 new death). This is an increase of 7 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
