To close the season, the Lady Cardinals took on the Laurel Yellow Jackets for the second time this year. They started a little slow in the first quarter but made minor adjustments. The move worked and they shut down their leading scorer who had four points in the first quarter and only two in the second and third combined. It was a close game but the Cardinals were up by two at the half. The girls fought hard to keep the lead. It was a total team effort on both defense and offense. Halle Meyer had one, and Isla Padgett had five. Katie Hammond and Reagan Siefert had two each and Sophia Hillebrand topped all scorers with six. It was a great season and we improved a lot week by week. The Lady Cardinals ended the season 7 and 3.
