Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,733 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 628,391 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,963,581 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 16 new deaths were reported for a total of 9,613 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,059 cases and 47 deaths reported (up 25 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,551 positive cases and 83 deaths (up 5 new cases), Franklin County has 1,538 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 4 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,094 positive cases and 49 deaths (up 22 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 56 new positive cases and 1 new death.
