47 new local cases Thursday

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,762 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 645,006 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,029,943 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 26 new deaths were reported for a total of 11,604 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 5,256 cases and 60 deaths reported (up 22 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,664 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 10 new cases), Franklin County has 1,568 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,187 positive cases and 58 deaths (up 13 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 47 new positive cases.
