Batesville, IN — The St. Louis School (SLS) Rube Goldberg STEAM Team has been working diligently on their machine since September 2020, when the task to “shake and pour a box of Nerds” was announced. Their machine takes you on a trip down memory lane to the crazy and colorful 1980s. As the machine’s steps are completed, the viewer is taken through some of the most popular movies, games, decor, and pop culture from that time.

This blast from the past machine has landed the SLS Team into the top ten in their division nationally. The final competition results will be announced live on RubeGoldberg.com at noon on April 10th.

You can help the students to win the People’s Choice Award by voting at VOTERUBEGOLDBERG.COM by April 5th. The SLS machine is in the Division I section and it is Video #1.
