Republicans sweep in Ripley County

Versailles, IN — Ripley County reported 68.65% voter turnout for the November 2020 election. 14,444 people came out to have their voices heard whether they chose early voting, mail-in ballots, or to vote on Tuesday.

In the County Council-at-Large seat, winners for the evening are Katie Bailey, Andrew Decker, and Peggy Ehlers.

Several Ripley County School Board races on Tuesday. In the Jac-Cen-Del School Board-at-Large seat, Travis Neal succeeded over the other four opponents. For the Batesville School Board District 3 race, Mike Baumer and Jeremy Raver won the accumulative votes for Ripley and Franklin Counties. South Ripley School Board District 3 winner was Amy Miller over Randel Mcintosh and in District 7, Jeffery Cornett won over Shelba Wiley.
