Frank Ahaus, 83, of Yorkville, IN passed Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He leaves his beloved family: Francis (Kim) Ahaus of Lebanon, OH, Johnny (Paula) Ahaus of Broken Arrow, OK, Chris (Jane) Ahaus of Greendale, IN, William Ahaus of Yorkville, Sandy (Gary) Stenger of Sunman, IN, Mary (Rick) Clark of Dillsboro, IN, Tamie (Troy Roark) Ahaus of Milan, IN. He also leaves 18 grandchildren and 26 Great-grandchildren.
Frank leaves his brothers Thomas (Judy) Ahaus of Manchester, IN, Mike (Sharon) Ahaus of Greendale and his sisters Patricia Dixon of Greendale, IN and Alice Miller of Greendale, IN.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Ahaus, married November 14, 1953; his son, Thomas Ahaus, his daughters Nancy and Debbie Ahaus, his grandsons Andrew Stenger and Joshua Garrison, his great-grandson Kyle Garrison, his parents Andrew and Jane Ahaus, and parents-in-law Lou and Arnie Roark.
Frank enjoyed working with Thoroughbred horses and would make his own horse shoes. He was a member of the Thoroughbred Association.
