Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 6,604 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 404,935 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,369,181 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 17.1% positive rate and 96 new deaths were reported for a total of 6,302 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,914 cases and 37 deaths reported (up 39 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,682 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 51 new cases), Franklin County has 922 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 13 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,925 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 31 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 134 new positive cases and 1 new death.
