Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,411 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 578,494 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,792,291 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.7% positive rate and 40 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,830 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,433 cases and 43 deaths reported (up 44 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,373 positive cases and 82 deaths (up 23 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,393 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 7 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,871 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 45 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 119 new positive cases and 1 new death.
