Zella Hitesman, age 88 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her home. Born November 25, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Herman and Bessie (Montgomery) Carr.
Zella married Larry Hitesman May 24, 1974 in Miamitown, Ohio. Was a faithful member of New Haven Road Family Worship Center for many years.
Zella is survived by her beloved husband Larry Hitesman. Loving mother of Barb Gillespie. Grandmother of Brent (Amanda) Beal and Colt Beal. Great grandmother of Skyler, Braydon, Kaylee, Brock and Josie Beal. Sister of Robert (Ida) Carr and Dan (Lois) Carr. Also survived by brother in law Landon Smith.
Preceded in death by her parents Herman and Bessie Carr, son David L. Hetisimer and siblings Herman Carr Jr., Joe “Star” Carr, Stella Carr and Della Smith.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating all at New Haven Road Family Worship Center 8985 New Haven Road Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
