(Decatur County, IN) – Preparations are underway for the annual closing of a local road.
From May 29 to June 9, County Road 250 West from Base to Vandalia Road in Decatur County will be shut down to all traffic for the annual emergency vehicle operations training.
Several local agencies take advantage of the training on 250 West, including the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the Greensburg Police Department and area EMS, because it saves them a trip to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield for training.
That, in turn, saves money on fuel and overtime.
