13 National Guard, Reserve, active-duty Army soldiers and one civilian contractor graduated from the Defense Intelligence Systems Master Gunner (DISMG) course today from the Indiana National Guard's intelligence center at Stout Field in Indianapolis.
On hand to wish the graduates well were Col. Ryan Janovic, U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) intelligence officer, Lt. Col. Mark Tuner, the Army National Guard's intelligence program division chief and Chief Warrant Officer 5 P...eter Panos, the National Guard Bureau command chief warrant officer.
"This helps us understand the architecture of the different intelligence systems and how they communicate with each other," said Minnesota National Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 Kassandra Grams, a 34th Red Bull Infantry Division intelligence officer, and graduate. "I think it's important in the future so we can be flexible to fight."
This week, we will be training alongside Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine armed forces in the engineer-oriented exercise #BlondeAvalanche.
This multinational exercise focuses on increasing freedom of movement and linkages with allies and partners.
Follow us this week as the exercise unfolds!
