On Saturday evening, Mr. Marvin Cutter was honored with a "Quilt of Valor". Marvin has resided in Dillsboro since he purchased his farm in the mid 1950's. He served in the United States Navy and is the oldest living Veteran in Dillsboro. Congratulations Marvin!

We are going to have a square dance at the heritage festival in Dillsboro Sept.17 from 6 till 8 PM. We have a caller, we need dancers. If you are a little rusty... or want to learn we can have a couple practices in my barn. Let me know if you will or know someone who will join in.
