The Indiana State Police Museum collects, preserves, and presents the history of the Indiana State Police, focusing on the dedication of the department, connection with the community, and innovations made throughout the organization’s existence.

The Indiana State Police Museum’s collection tells the story of the Indiana State Police from its inception in 1933 to present day. The museum’s collection holds such things as the death mask of the infamous John Dillinger, a 1938 Chevrolet police vehicle, and uniforms from different eras.

Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Third Saturday each month: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The ISP Museum will not hold third Saturday hours in August or September.

Instead, the ISP Museum will be open on Saturday, August 26^th and Saturday, September 30^th.

Normal third Saturday hours will resume on Saturday, October 21^st.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.

Visitors are welcome to explore the museum on their own, or schedule a guided tour. The Indiana State Police Museum can accommodate any type of group, including school field trips.
