‘Work Batesville’ draws hundreds

Batesville, In. — Officials say 275 people attended the “Work Batesville” job fair organized by the city of Batesville, Batesville Chamber of Commerce and the Batesville Rotary Club. Exit surveys reveal the people were from Batesville, Sunman, Milan, Shelbyville, Greensburg, Connersville, Cincinnati and more.

Thirty-one companies from the healthcare, education, hospitality, transportation, administrative and arts and entertainment industries presented information about opportunities and conducted face-to-face interviews.

“We are truly pleased with the turnout and the wonderful feedback from both the jobseekers and the companies,” said Chamber Executive Director Anna Ibold. “It thrills us to connect those looking for work with these notable companies who contribute so much to the success of Batesville!” If you’re in the market for a new career visit the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce website or “Batesville Jobs” on Facebook.”
