Woman flown from weekend ATV accident

New Marion, IN — Air Care was called to an ATV accident just before 3:30 Saturday afternoon on private property near County Road 350 West and County Road 450 South in the New Marion area.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies say a 2003 Suzuki Quadrunner operated by 57-year-old Lori Rudolph of Versailles went down an embankment and landed in a dry creek.

Rudolph and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

She was flown from the scene to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.

There is no word on her condition.

Rudolph’s passenger was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.

Also responding were Ripley County EMS and Medic, and the New Marion and Versailles fire departments.
