Woliung Places at State HOSA Competition

Versailles, IN—Hailee Ann Woliung, a senior in the Southeastern Career Center’s Health Science program recently placed third in the Home Health Aide competition for HOSA (Health Occupations Student of America). This placing provides her the opportunity to compete at the HOSA International Leadership conference in June. The state conference is normally held in Indianapolis and the International Leadership Conference is scheduled for Houston, Texas but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both conferences will be held virtually.

Hailee has obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant and Dementia training through the Career Center providing her the opportunity to earn 8 dual college credits through Ivy Tech as well as her high school credits. She is currently employed as a C.N.A. at Ripley Crossing in Milan and also works at the Versailles Dairy Queen.

Hailee is a Senior at South Ripley. Her parents are Ashlee and Josh Hooten. She plans to attend Indiana State University and major in nursing.
