Forecasters say a low-pressure system will move into the area Tuesday evening bringing a larger shield of moisture and precipitation beginning Tuesday night. The precipitation is expected to continue through Wednesday morning and could bring 1 to 3 inches of snow and up to one-tenth of an inch of ice. The chance of winter precipitation Tuesday into Wednesday is 90 percent.
