William Lewis

William W. Lewis, 66, of Holton passed away at 8:50 pm Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. He was born at Milan on September 29, 1949 the son of Dilver and Dorothea Klausing Lewis. He was married to Doris Schlotman on August 31, 1977 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Bryan (Lisa) Schlotman of Holton, and Greg (Debbie) Schlotman of Fairland; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister Hazel Marie Johnson of Osgood; one brother Paul Lewis of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Michelle, his brother Norman, and his sister Eleanor Goodpaster. Mr. Lewis was a truck driver and had driven for Wayne Feeds in Milan. In his free time Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29th at 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Tanglewood Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
