William “Billy” Walter Schwarm, Jr. of Harrison, was born on March 7, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of William Walter Sr. and Maryanna Tobaben Schwarm. Billy was a builder of gunite in ground pools for Tri-State Pools of Harrison, a company he and long-time partner and best friend, Melvin Schmidt ran together. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed fishing and gardening. On Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the age of 63, Billy passed away after a battle with cancer.
Those surviving who will cherish Billy’s memory include his daughters, Mary (Chris) Baute of Bridgetown, OH, and Stefanie Schwarm of Cincinnati; granddaughter, Claire Baute; sister, Patty (Mark) Kennedy of Cedar Grove; brother, Mike (Nancy) Schwarm of Brookville; nephews, David (Myranda) Schwarm, Daniel Schwarm and Justin Schwarm, all of Brookville; best friend, Melvin Schmidt, and friend Penny Kerns. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Schwarm.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 11a.m. till time of service at 1p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
