Greensburg, In. — For nearly 2 years, Logan Wilder has displayed dedication and passion in his employment as a Detention Deputy with the Decatur County Jail. Not only is he an asset to the Jail, he also donates his time as a St. Paul town Marshal and is passionate about providing safety within his community.
With the increasing rate of offenders currently being housed in the Decatur County Jail, it is becoming harder to keep morale high within the department. “These Detention Deputies have a hard job. They deal with constant stress within their jobs, are often overlooked and underappreciated. It is important to me that my team members know that I see the hard work that they put in everyday, and what they sacrifice to be part of this team,” said Sheriff Durant. “Logan puts 110% into his job every day. He uses his knowledge and experience to make his team better.”
