Here are results from a limited slate of area boys high school basketball games played Tuesday, December 1 and Thursday, December 3.
Franklin County fell by three to Lawrenceburg 59-56.
The Wildcats held a 32-19 lead at halftime but were outscored by the Tigers 24-8 in the third. The two teams both scored 16 points in the closing quarter. LHS had a 26-14 advantage in two-point scoring.
Lawrenceburg’s Jackson Bobo had a game high 16 points and seven rebounds. Both Garrett Yoon and Dahya Patel put in 12. Patel also had five boards and five assists.
Franklin County also saw three players score in double figures. Chad Cox led with 14, Brant Ertel scored 13 and Aden Gerrian followed with 12. Cox and Ertel combined for six assists and seven steals.
Waldron lost by 20 to Triton Central 67-47.
For the Mohawks, Bryce Yarling collected 22 points. Lucas Mitchell added 12 points and six rebounds. Bryant Becker pulled down a team-best eight boards, dished out three assists and scored four points.
