How would the ‘Cats respond after Tuesday’s match? That was the question for Thursday as they headed into their match against the heavily favored Trojans. Their answer? Aggression. Willpower. The Wildcats were bound and determined to force the Trojans to earn every goal, which they did. FC took an early lead off a long shot from Grant Suding. EC eventually answered, scoring 5 consecutive goals, but FC wouldn’t give up. Cledith Martin scored from a PK and a shot from outside the 18, set up by a deft through ball of Tommy Ratz.

The ‘Cats look to take the next few days to heal and prepare themselves for another conference battle on Tuesday against South Dearborn starting at 5:30.

Franklin County just could not shake the Patriots on Tuesday. Throughout the match, it seemed FC would score and UC would respond. This happened for the entire match until the final 3 minutes, when UC scored their final goal. Franklin County desperately worked to try to find an answer, but could not find the equalizing goal.
